AJ's Fine Foods: Specialty Grocery Store in Glendale, AZ

AJ‘s is a great store to find unique items. It has a wonderful lunch buffet with several things to choose from. You can also enjoy their outdoor patio, which is very nice this time of year. The floral area and gift shop always have the coolest items

Best chef in Glendale, he is the BBQ King! He provides amazing customer service and great food! AJ’s is lucky to have him. Wish I could have tipped him.

I feel like a kid in a candy store when I go here. We mostly go for our proteins and my family loves the cannabis. The kids love all the bakery item basically.

I just want to take a moment to recognize the outstanding service I received at AJ's. Scott, the manager, went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of quickly and professionally. His attentiveness, friendly demeanor, and genuine care for customers truly stood out and made my experience exceptional. I also want to give a big shoutout to Ann, the manager in the deli. She was absolutely amazing--helpful, knowledgeable, and incredibly kind. She made sure I got exactly what I needed and provided such a warm and welcoming experience. Both Scott and Ann are shining examples of what excellent customer service looks like. Their dedication and professionalism make AJ's a place I'll continue to return to and highly recommend.

This review is specifically for the outdoor patio grill and coffee bar. This is my favorite lunch stop, especially when I am craving a really good burger! The chef, (Stanley?) is super efficient, friendly, and does a fantastic job preparing food and working under pressure. Inside, great coffee, love the iced teas (and their prices). Don't ever close the patio grill!

The Floral Department -- I purchase flowers from AJ's floral department several times a year for my wife. They always do a great job. This past Valentines Day I purchased an arrangement and was helped by the florist - Fabiola. She did an amazing job being sure I was 100% satisfied with the flowers selected. I don't mind spending the extra dollars on flowers for my wife when they have that extra special look. Every time when getting flowers from AJ's they hit it out of the park. Also the key is to order ahead when you have the time. They can take the order over the phone or at the store, but either way expectations and price are always met.

I love AJs. One of the only places left to get fresh made tea for $2. And good quality tea at that. Good tea is surprisingly hard to find. Ive also been to their outside grill many times. You can get a great burger or chicken sandwich for under $10.

I haven’t been there in years and of course I go the day before Thanksgiving and it was packed, but they managed to get everyone through very quickly and they have plenty of everything for everyone which is amazing and they have plenty of staff to move things along very smoothly I was amazed that all the different things they had in variety of food and surprise to find these walking tamales Beans salsa Verde little packet, so you can walk around and eat a tamale. AJ has so many wonderful things. I may just continue to shop there. It is pricey, but well worth it. And their Caesar salads are out of this world
